The Team Lead / Project Lead at SSO Handling and Storage spearheads our installation projects, guiding teams to achieve excellence in every endeavour. They blend leadership with expertise, ensuring projects meet our high quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction standards while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Queanbeyan Workshop & Office with Canberra Region site work (occasional work in Regional NSW)

• Hardworking and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated and able to work safely under supervision and independently.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• White Card, Asbestos and Silica certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) and working at heights is favourable.
• Forklift license, first aid certification, and experience in trade or construction are advantageous.
• Occasional Flexible work hours – Occasional projects require night work or early starts/late finishes
• Experience in pallet racking installation will be favourable but unnecessary for the right candidate.
• Fabrication experience is a bonus
• Dedicated, keen eye for detail, and passionate about problem-solving.
• Possess a strong work ethic and are safety conscious
• Can work both independently and in a team environment
• Flexible regarding possible interstate travel
• Experienced with hand and power tools, with certifications like Forklift and EWP licenses highly regarded.
• Motivated by the challenge of diverse projects and continuous improvement.
Standard business hours are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
As a Trade service business, there are occasional odd hours such as early starts, late finishes or night shifts.
These will always be discussed with staff before booking the work.
